Overall a great beach to go to. The people there who run the beach are very nice and helpful and can answer most questions you have about the area. You do have to walk down a hill for a few minutes to get there, but the walk is really nice and beautiful as it runs along a creek. When I went there I was even lucky enough to see a sloth hanging in the branches of a tree near the edge of the forest.
We read a lot of mixed reviews before visiting Manuel Antonio National Park! I would say that it is definitely worth a visit! The wildlife we were able to see was simply amazing. We did choose to go into the park without a guide and we were glad that we did... we were able to spend as much time at the beach as we wanted and those with guides were limited to the time they had at the beach! The beaches are possibly the most beautiful I have ever seen!! We spent the entire day in the park and loved every minute of it!!
