  • This is a must she visiting Costa Rica! It is beyond gorgeous! The waterfalls are breath taking. You do have quite a hike to get to them but they are worth it. You can get up really close to them, but you cannot swim in them. They also have a little zoo so you can see some of the wildlife of this country. Very neat!
  • La Paz Waterfall Gardens is one of the most visited Ecological attractions in close vicinity to San Jose in Costa Rica, featuring some of the most famous waterfalls in Costa Rica, as well as an animal sanctuary and an environmental education program.
  • WOW! Totally worth it! I was a little leery of spending so much on a tour, but I was astounded at how neat this place was. Very well organized, TASTY food, knowledgable, clean, and very helpful staff. The animals are amazing and easy to see - better than most zoos I have been to. You actually walk through the poison dart frog display, there are thousands of butterflies, and the hummingbirds are incredible. The waterfalls were breathtaking and even though it rained heavily, this was one tour you don't want to miss! Caution: There are a fair amount of stairs and wet surfaces - you'll want to bring a pair of closed-toe shoes. I highly recommend this place! 5-stars!!
  • Really beautiful site. Quick 2 hour tour of waterfalls and wildlife. Quite expensive. The buffet is alright but we prefer the sodas and cevichitas elsewhere.
  • Perhaps the best natural 'man-made' site I visited in a week while in Costa Rica! Very well maintained site, super friendly staff and plenty of great stuff to enjoy from waterfalls, flowers to animals. Plenty of restrooms and a nice restaurant. What more could you ask for!
