  • See the screens of the aquatic plants of Monet live was crying and shaking their legs. It's exciting enough. The Museum is small and concise but very interesting, in addition to the Monet fabrics have enough nice thing to see.

  • The building houses an impressive 19th century art collection, but Monet's Water Lillies were undoubtedly the main attraction. Definitely worth a visit even if you only have time for the Water Lillies...  more »
  • If you are a Monet fan, this museum is a must! To be surrounded by his water lilies in a place built especially for his paintings is a serene experience. The huge walls painted with the water lilies b...  more »

  • So this museum was small but obviously a big attraction are Monet’s water Lillie’s which take up two large rooms. The lower level has temporary exhibits and more painters. I would say it’s good to stop by, especially if you’re a tourist and visiting the Eiffel Tower or the Ferris wheel right nearby, but I wouldn’t plan a whole day around it by any means.
  • What a museum is all I got to say. Went today and saw a few works. From seeing Monet and the Water Lilies and some of Renoir’s work and of course the famous Picasso. Definitely a must Museum.
  • Once again another must stop in the multitude of museums in Paris. As always the museum is clean. Bathroom cam be found on the lower level ( just down the stairs from the entrance ) gift shop on site. Can easily spend a few hours here.
  • Cute And small gallery. Recommend to visit the water lilies of Renoir. They also had a Dada exhibit during my visit.
  • It is possible to visit the museum and see the great works of Monet and other great artists just in 20 Min. To plunge in the atmosphere, see, feel, get the most important new information on each artists, to hear their quotes. Most interesting shortest visit to museum ever :)

Where to stay in Paris

Each of the city’s 20 arrondissements, or districts, has a personality all its own. If you prefer high-end accommodations and to be in the middle of the action, look for lodging in the 1st through the 4th arrondissements. For more affordable lodging and access to major metro lines, try the 12th. The Oberkampf area of the 11th arrondissement has an edgier, more hip vibe. For easy access to tourist sites,  the 16th is within a stone’s throw of the Arc de Triomph and the Eiffel Tower, and the 17th is within walking distance to the Champs-Elysées. Avoid the 18th, 19th, and 20th, because these can be dangerous, especially if you’re not familiar with the city.
