  • People's Republic of China organizations, personal crowded tourists got more comfortable, quiet cattle can be used, but fresh seafood, delicious food you can eat the best relatively affordable gourmet. Pharmaceuticals, cosmetic products, such as when you buy in a drug store in the market.

  • Fresh fish galore. Interesting ones too. Start earlier as shops wind back mid noon. Bit older but gateway to other areas to explore  more »
  • Full of anticipation, the result is completely deceive tourist attractions. The price is expensive, the service is simple, the taste is not good, except the environment, no where conforms to the vegetable market characteristic. Local working Chinese say no locals will be here to buy food, so let's give it up.

  • This is an excellent Market that has everything from Kobe beef to fresh seafood cook anyway you want. The selections is very Y in huge. It is truly a food Paradise for the foodie. Go there early in the morning and eat your way throughout the day.
  • It was simply an amazing experience by just strolling and being immersed in the kuromon market streets. A good place to eat fresh seafood, high-quality meat and many typical Osaka street cuisine at relatively cheaper price. I wish I could have a bigger stomach so I can try a few more stores😢 Will definitely visit again if I return to Osaka in my next Japan trip!!
  • This is one of the famous spots you need to visit in Osaka. There are a lot of small shops inside the market. The market is big enough that you can spend many hours there. You can find different kinds of food in the market but most people go there for fresh seafood.
  • This is a Japanese local market street or mall, where you can take a look at the various kinds of food and items and enjoy those food as well. Looks it does not have competitive price range due to crowds of foreign visitors. Anyway, worth a visit.
  • Kuromon is a great place to purchase food stuffs for souvenirs or to even stuff your face with food at cheaper prices as compared to dotombori etc. However, it is getting more touristy and many of the old shops have now been changed to cooked food outlets. There are still a couple of well established old shops that still cater to lower prices for the locals.

Where to stay in Osaka

The majority of Osaka's moderate and expensive accommodations concentrate in the districts of Umeda, Kyobashi, Namba, and Shin-Osaka. Base your stay in or near Minami neighborhood for proximity to a wide selection of shopping and dining options. For quick access to long-distance transportation to other cities and areas, look for hotels in Kita district. Many backpackers prefer the budget options in the Tennoji area, where the quality of rooms and prices vary wildly--call or check websites of specific establishments before you make reservations.
