  • Such a cool aquarium! It may seem like a strange place to visit as a tourist, but if you're a fan of marine life, I highly recommend it! The main tank at the center of the aquarium was truly spectacular. It was my first time seeing a whale shark, which was really awe-inspiring. Their exhibits were very nicely displayed, and most had English translations. They also have these cute stamps in each exhibit room that you can collect in a booklet, and it's a fun way to keep kids (or silly adults) engaged and exploring.
  • The aquarium was a standard recommended tourist destination at Osaka, so we decided to give it a go. It is one of the biggest aquariums in the world. While the displays we're good, the place was fairly crowded and at certain spots, it felt more like a crowded market Street compared to a beautiful aquarium where one goes to enjoy serenity of nature. Alas, once you get over the crowds, there certainly are some amazing exhibits. For the big tank, I would recommend continuing your walk down the spiral walkway to reach mid level, where there often is less crowds and there are seats which you can sit and enjoy the fish swim. Towards the end there is a tank of stingray which children can touch. My son enjoyed the experience, but I was not game enough to do it. Overall it's another tourist attraction worthwhile a visit to say you have done it but definitely worthwhile for families with younger children.
  • ( In my opinion ) This is the world's best aquarium, with a beautiful sightseeing spots right after you get your ticket. The aquarium path is pretty wide, but sometimes it still makes you stuck if you come on holiday and some attraction is ongoing. Tons of souvenirs are ready to buy near the exit door, including dolls, medals, key chains, and more. The aquarium's exterior glows colorful lights at night. 30+ restaurants at Tempozan Market Place ( Only 100m away ). *Very recommended.*
  • Osaka Aquarium has to be one of the coolest aquariums I’ve been to. The are multiple levels. The main attraction is probably the whale sharks. There are two whale sharks and you can view them from multiple levels. There are certain times that the whale sharks are fed, be sure to view them during feeding time - a very cool sight to see! There are areas where you can pet some of the marine animals as well! Overall, a very cool experience!
  • Best aquarium I have ever visited. The exhibits were plentiful and varying. It includes animals such as penguin, sea lion and dolphin. There were even live feeding sessions where we could see the animals performing tricks which is definitely a must see! Moreover, special exhibits showcased fishes that have weird / abnormal body shape or features. It is definitely a must go if you are in Osaka.
