  • It was not easy to reach, there are no indications and we lost a little. When we finally arrived, we find that, certainly the beach is public, but the parking lot, and there is no other place where to drop off the car rather than in the parking lot of hotel and the company handled this beach because the road that takes you to Playa Paraiso is very narrow. At the entrance to tell you that if you eat at the restaurant you do not pay the parking lot, just get off the truck, there is a young lady and a waiter that you are saying that if you want an umbrella you must eat in the restaurant, if you want to Tan you have to pay $450 for an ACE oleadero, and as you don't know, you don't know that you can get to the beach without paying for anything like that if you are wearing your towels to throw yourself into the Sun where you want. This restaurant has taken over the beach to the horrible plastic chairs and tables. We crash and we sat at a table, we ordered food and drinks the truth were very bad and expensive, gave us two passes in order to use the bathroom without having to pay. The bathrooms and dressing rooms a disgrace, dirty, smelly, if they are charging for the service, the least they should do is to clean them. As Mexican gives me shame to see our Government allows these companies to reach our beautiful beaches, and if they are going to allow, should at least require them that their services are worth, because the truth hotel, restaurant and furniture of plastic that they use, they make beautiful beach paradise seem like cheap beach.

Where to stay in Tulum

Most accommodations in Tulum make the most of the region's scenic coastline, offering sea views and easy beach access along the coastal Route 15. This area, known as the Hotel Zone, includes everything from basic, budget-friendly "cabanas" (beach shacks) to large-scale beach resorts. For proximity to the town's famous Mayan ruins, stay at the northern end of this coastal stretch. If you want easier access to amenities and ongoing connections, look to the township itself, located a short drive from the beach.
