  • When in Oman there is one attraction that stands out from the rest, which is known for its grand stature and mystified history. Naturally, the Grand Mosque is going to be one of the highlights of your visit to Muscat. Here are some interesting secrets and facts you should check out before visiting. The full name of this magnificent structure is the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, which dominates the Muscat skyline.
  • Amazing work by the sultanate in design and all other stuff. Just amazingly designed and the detailing done is simply mind blowing. Close observation can only show you the true beauty of this amazing masjid. the way it has been made and stuff like that can be understood only in close observation
  • Muscat’s most magnificent religious building and the only mosque in Oman to open its doors to tourists, the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque is one of the city’s most popular attractions. Built in the Ghubrah suburb back in 2001, the landmark building is an impressive feat of contemporary Islamic architecture and one of the largest mosques in the Gulf, with the 40,000-square-meter grounds able to accommodate an incredible 20,000 worshippers at one time.
  • Absolutely stunning tiles, woodwork, and lighting in the mosque. A very emotional experience. It is clear that impeccable attention has been paid to every detail of the mosque and its environs.
  • Very nice place. Very unique. Make sure you go dressed appropriately i recommend women buy a scarf to place over there head out of respect.
