Japanese Garden - Szczytnicki Park, Wroclaw

4.2
#2 of 10 in Parks in Wroclaw
Get a taste of Japan while you're in Poland at Japanese Garden - Szczytnicki Park, which made its debut in 1913 as part of the World Expo. The small garden with sculpted bushes sits in a quiet part of the city outside the center, located near the Centennial site. It has been reconstructed to look like the original garden from decades ago and features pagodas, a man-made lake, narrow bridges, and simple sculptures. The garden isn't large and is better suited for contemplation rather than walking. • The Japanese garden is a great place to relax in nature. Worth a visit especially during the spring and summer. There is plenty of flowers Japanese-style bridges. I personally love such places.

  • This place is truly relaxing - not only it has great selection of plants and flowers but it's all nicely organised into a Japanese style Garden.  more »
  • Honestly, one of the best Japanese gardens I have seen. Including those in Japan. Recommended in spring or autumn (as all things Japanese)  more »

  • Garden is very nice but not too big. It's a shame that there's no info boards and you need to rely on a photo of map near the front entrance. It's not too big but well layed out. I can recommend a visit but don't get over excited.
  • Nice green spot in the city. Better if visited during spring time with all the flowers, colors etc. Not very well organized, there is a ticket to pay but not everyone is paying for this entrance.
  • Lovely garden that is well maintained. You have to pay to get into the japanese gardens but it does seem fair. Lovely place especially in summer.
  • Very bad place, I found better japanese example inside sushi fusione restaurants. Ok there are pagodas and carps, but where is the japanese ambience? 4PLN very badly invested..
  • Quite nice place if you want to relax & enjoy a walk...!
