#1 of 181 in Outdoors in Poland
Get in touch with nature at one of the oldest and largest zoos in Poland at Wroclaw Zoo & Afrykarium, founded in 1865. A few thousand animals live here in habitats designed to recreate their native environments, and the diversity makes the zoo one of the most visited attractions in Poland. Check out popular areas like the African exhibit, oceanarium, children's petting zoo, and ropes course. The zoo's residents are very active, so keep your camera ready to grab a shot of lemurs, alligators, rhinos, and giraffes. Simply purchase your tickets from the kiosk when you arrive. • Afrykarium knocks on my knees, many already saw in the world of this type of activities, but it knocks. ZOO Wrocław generally passed an unusual przemiena in recent years, is beautiful, and it will be even better from what I can see. I start off in the morning to avoid avoid then 9ej queues. Pour

  • -The Zoo is more than 150 years of history, often turbulent as well as whole. Is located near other attractions for approx. 35 hectares is exposed approx. 10,000 animal species, it is also a lot of interesting specimens of plants, even bamboo, used here in every corner. -Afrykarium, there can be different sometimes you have to figure in the/wakacje queue, holidays/but is it worth it? Maybe another time?, as a waste of time and there is a lot to see. -I met reviews that nothing interesting and it looks like the "commune" hola, hola, if then so were presented animal paddocks?/bears, Lynx, sea lions got sleek, penguins and many, many others. Or an innovative ploy gibbonów, wyjców. squirrel monkey, Martens? -This is a must see in order to have the phrase in this topic, before exploring/for not familiar with the topography of the garden/I recommend you stock up on the map. -If you are by car, I recommend free! parking at the ul. Mickiewicz and walk through the Szczytnicki Park/approx. 30 minutes/or along the street. Copernicus about 20 minutes. -As a curiosity it should be mentioned that at the turn of the century, other of the world's zoos, also in Wroclaw were organized. demonstrations of ethnic peoples/it shall be deemed to be not the glorious past and the furore they did the Tunisians in July in the year 1904 in one day, by 9 hours zoo, visited by 41.000 people. Whether this record has been exceeded? I do not know. We cordially invite you. Sports: Bozena and Richard.

  • I arrived in the afternoon. I spent 3 hours in the Afrykarium alone. I'm impressed by the variety and space. The Blue Planet in Copenhagen looks similar in size. The rest of zoo is immense as well. I didn't explore much of the rest
  • This was an incredible experience with the animals well displayed in good surroundings. It was refreshing as the same cannot be said for the rest of the zoo! The entrance fee was justified by this alone.
  • They oversell their tickets. We bought ahead of time online, but when we got there the line for entrance (of people with tickets!!) Was more than 700m long!
  • Amazing zoo with big selection of animals. It's big and it's difficult to see everything in one day. Kids will love it. Adults can have a beer and there is good food selection for a short break, when you all going to get to tired .
  • This is literally one of the most interesting places you can visit in Wroclaw, exhibition is stunning, entrance ticket costs 45 zlotyh and it's totally worth! It takes 4 hours to see everything:)
