  • An hour or so to fill in on a Sunday in good weather? Then Yes, stroll among the many colourful stalls, a bit of everything and a nice relaxed atmosphere.

  • We are from Malaga and are accustomed to a trail that has everything from food, clothes, things things for decoration, etc. Our surprise was to see lot of 2 ° hand quite high prices, a lot of people and many pickpockets clothing. It was a visit with high risk of theft for what could "be interested ' buy. '

  • If you have a few days in Madrid and happen to be in the city on a Sunday the Rastro is great worth a half day. A sprawling market that has everything from tourist stuff to clothes, electronic goods and antiques. The market goes up a main tree lined avenue that has many options for coffee, drinks and food as well as interesting shops. Quality can vary but prices are generally negotiable most shop owners are friendly and will make a deal. The best reason to go though is to people watch and see many of the awesome live musicians and performers. Recommend getting there early before the crowds do your shopping and then find a place to have a casual lunch near a live band. Be careful of your things as it is very crowded it can feel a bit much but the shops and restaurants off to the side of her a respite from the crowd.
  • A huge market selling everything that you can imagine. The market had a lot of beautiful old antiquities.many of the antique shops on the streets will set up stalls outside there shops showing off some excellent pieces. I arrived at around 11am and it was getting very busy. I would suggest getting in early to avoid the crowds. You Could easily spend a few hours wondering about looking at everything. There are some hidden alleys which open up to amazing courtyards full of antique shops. Keep your eyes open.
  • Sensational places with shops and amazing bargains/opportunities for the people to go get them. Also spectacular ambience with live music and many places where you can enjoy tapas beer and many things in the heart of one of the best neighborhoods of madrid
  • Very busy market selling a variety of wares.Although there are many many stalls a lot of them sell the same thing so every few feet there is repetition. Good place to buy cushion covers and gifts for friends.
  • I love markets and this one was one of the most cool ones! Live music played by various street artists, our favorite was a group called Ataca_Paca, they put up a great show that kids and adults end up enjoying! You end up walking up and down long streets. You will find all kinds of stuff here, antiques, bronze decorations, clothes, castañuelas, silver jewlery, hats, etc. Literally anything! It gets really crowded closer to lunch time, but its great fun!
