  • Not necessarily on our list of priorities in terms of visiting the capital but a nice surprise this Egyptian temple is an almost magical place in the sunset, on the heights of a nice Park! To discover

  • The problem is that if you don't know what you think you're going to see a temple as in Egypt. It is not so, we are in madrid. It is a monument that must see but more important are the views from the Park toward the House field, Royal Palace and almudena Cathedral. To stroll quietly through the area in impegnarse of the different types of people, singing people listen to music, ect. If you do not want to enjoy this kind of thing better not go to visit him.

  • They say it has opening hours but in fact, there is none... the inside of the temple is always closed. It's in a center of a huge park with incredible view on the royal palace and the cathedral. The temple itself is beautiful and even more on sunset. The park that surrounds it is nice, great place to unwind, do sport, lay down, tan... also very family friendly. I highly recommend
  • A must see between 6 and 8. The place around is amazing you will see bands. It's nice also to have a seat before arriving in the parque close to it. Maybe you will can't enter the temple because of the queue and they close it at 7.45. Or you have to be there earlier . But it's not a big deal because you can take pictures next to it with the amazing view when Sun rises. Too much people will be there
  • Beautiful temple and surrounding park for a quiet nice walk. You can find the rose garden close by and the majestic royal palace as well. I miss Madrid so much!
  • Cool on the outside, if it's hot out don't expect to be able to go inside. Hours are posted to go inside but they aren't letting anyone in. I asked a guard after our second trip there (we went again to see if it was open and a different time), he said it wouldn't be open to visitors until probably October because it is too hot. This info is not posted anywhere at the temple or on their website, which is very frustrating.
  • Very interesting to see such a temple here, a big park in Madrid. The best moment to go there is at sunset. Take the time to appreciate the old stones.

Where to stay in Madrid

The Spanish capital is known for its array of distinct neighborhoods each with its own appeal. An affordable and easy-to-navigate metro system, which makes it is easy to get around Madrid gives you more flexibility in choosing where to stay. Perhaps the most popular choice is Puerta del Sol, the heart of the city center and one of the main tourist attractions with its numerous shops, affordable hotels, and restaurants. Close by is Gran Via street, one of the city's main arteries, which is also home to a number of hotels. A short walk from here is Plaza España where the city's most iconic landmarks lie, including the Royal Palace and the Teatro Royal. For somthing outside the traditional tourist areas, consider staying in La Latina or Malasaña, two bohemian neighborhoods that offer a wide range of eclectic shops, quaint cafes, and lively bars.
