  • Beautiful temple, worth seeing. My visit was almost a half day, but in the evening I guess is the best time. This located in a high part of the city which allows views of Madrid rather than beautiful.

  • The Temple of Debod is a haven of peace and relaxation in the more posh Madrid of the Austrias... To go (to non-tourist hours and get lost in its Park and admire a part of Egypt in Madrid) no more magic...

  • I highly recommend to go to the Temple of Debod late in the day, when the sun sets on the horizon. The temple is currently closed and cannot be visited. On the other hand, the view from this place is beautiful and there is always a lot of people at these times, tourists and locals. The night-time illuminations of the temple are beautiful and reflections in the liquid mirror games makes the place quite magical. A lovely moment in the Madrid crowd.

  • Beautiful park setting. The monument itself was a gift from Egypt to Spain which is pretty cool. When we went it was closed so we were unable to go in. Not as many people come to this compared to other sites in the city which is nice as sometimes it feels like you’re the only ones there. The park that surrounds it is lovely to just relax from all the walking, catch some shade under the trees and watch all the doggies go by. For good photos I would suggest coming for sunset
  • Nice and Beautiful place and surroundings, amazing place. Full of history and culture, amazing food near that place. Very easily accessible by metro. Highly recommend if u like to see the history of Spanish and Roman empire. There are many other attractive places around the corner. I am sure you will love it if u r in Madrid and wants to enjoy some free time.
  • This is my favorite spot to take guests and tourists visit Madrid. Aim to go before sunset and you can walk around the park, see the beautiful grounds and enjoy the breathtaking views once the sun starts the set and the colors shift. Take some picnic food maybe sneak in some drinks and you have a wonderful Spanish evening
  • The monument itself is not that amazing but when the sunset hit the sky the location is precious. I have been there during the sunset and it is great. Also one day there were two guys playing the guitar and quite a lot of people gathered. Lovely and relaxing.
  • An actual gift from Egypt to Spain, it's a great place for families, couples or tourists to have a relaxing day, a picnic or just a nice stroll. It has fantastic views of the city and the temple itself is a woderful photo opportunity!
