  • You can not go to Madrid and not to visit it if you like art. Any exhibition that has is interesting. Recommended without a doubt.

  • It's just fabulous. There's got to be all day. Calm, measured, walking the halls, then have a delicious meal in the Cafe at the Museum and drink wine, and again go through the halls.

  • A museum should be visited. Almost too extensive, so it is no longer receptive. Many famous works from different periods of art. Just amazing!

  • Beautiful museum in the center of Madrid. The prices are reasonable and there are a lot of offers. For example, minors, teachers and seniors do not have to pay to visit any exhibit. The gift shop is very big and it has great books for children.
  • I loved this museum. The collection is fantastic and they really have good temporary exhibitions as well. They have a really wide variety of pieces from different periods. The top floor being the oldest pieces and getting younger as you move down. Definitely plan a good 2 hours, I spent well over that but it was definitely worth it.
  • I was lucky enough to visit when the admission was free. I thought that I would have to pay €5 or more and it would have been well worth it. There is so much to see that if you're interested in all works of art, you'll need a day here. If you are selective (say impressionism or cubism), then 2 to 4 hours may be enough. Plenty of staff to help, every exhibit has a description (including English) and you can take as many photographs and videos as you want (no flash/spot).
  • I wonderful range of Art by key artists. Displayed well with a thoughtful use of distance between paintings and use of lighting. Very good job done by the curators.
  • Third best art museum in Madrid. Great collection ranging from Dutch golden age all the way to contemporary. The also constantly hold very impressive temporary exhibitions
