  • Loved our visit! From the moment you walk in and see the large hanging dissected tree the museum keeps you in awe. Very nicely curated, covering classic to modern art. Photography, paintings, fashion, sound just so many elements under one roof. During our visit there was an exhibit focused on empathy. Walking through and reading the lessons told through the pieces of art took us through a rollercoaster of questions and emotions. We really enjoyed it and the conversation it provoked. Excited to return and see future exhibits.
  • My brother was dying to see a Basquiat painting on loan from a private collection so off we went before attending a wedding celebration outside of Tacoma. We also visited the "Double Exposure" exhibit and it was so worth it! I enjoyed the museum so much, and found myself liking some modern art as well, which is not usually my thing. The Empathetic exhibit - also super-cool. Were able to take our time and really enjoy the works on display. I definitely would go back again.
